The Eastbourne eye is back: Until 11 Sept 2022
The big wheel is back, and as beautiful as ever! Once again Eastbourne will be home to a state-of-the-art observation wheel this summer. It's a site you really can’t miss, literally. Standing over 160ft tall, the wheel offers a breath taking view of Eastbourne and the surrounding countryside.
This Summer the eye will be open from 11am - 6pm allowing all to see the sunshine coast at its best throughout all periods of the day.
999 Emergency Services: 2nd - 3rd
Have you ever wanted to see the emergency services up close, performing some of their routine call-outs? Well, wait no longer. On the 2nd - 3rd of July you can see our emergency services demonstrate some of the fantastic skill sets they have.
From police dog searches to coastguard rescue, this weekend is full of action. So go visit the Western Lawns, King Edwards Parade on the 2nd and 3rd of July and be part of the fun!
Tom Jones tribute show: 9th
Tom Jones tribute show, with Martin Jarvis. His tour has taken him all over the world and has now finally led him to perform in Eastbourne, in no better venue than the winter gardens. Doors will open at 7pm, tickets are under £10
Eastbourne IronBourne Triathlon: 10th
Around 100 competitors' will take part in a long-distance triathlon consisting of a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile cycle and 26.2 runs. Often referred to as an Ironman Triathlon. Truly a difficult challenge for any one of those taking part, so go along to cheer on the local competitors taking on the Eastbourne’s IronBourne Triathlon
Beachlife Music Festival:16th - 17th
Arguably the southeast’s coolest, funkiest weekend is back to keep you entertained all weekend long!
What to expect? A packed two days filled with outdoor entertainment, Featuring a Music Stage and Bar. Some of the finest foods from all over the world are being flown in, to allow for anyone coming to expand their pallet.
Not only food and music, but The VW Bus Stop Tour and Skate Park will be coming by to add to the weekend of fun.
Starting at Princess park, spanning all the way up to the Royal and Prince William parade's .
Summer county cup: 17th - 22nd
A chance for all those to compete on some of the best tennis courts in the country, Devonshire Park. What better excuses to get outside and enjoy the sunshine. Watch some of the younger competitors compete for their first time, or watch the veterans of the sport compete amongst each other.
Eastbourne Pride: 23rd
Pride is back in Eastbourne and as colourful as ever! Come along to experience the celebration of Pride. This event is full of entertainment, featuring performers including an Adele Tribute, Helen Ward-Jackson and Drag Queen Davina Sparkle.
This will be held in Princess Park.
Punch and Judy: 28th
The classic puppet show Punch and Judy are in Eastbourne once more, for a family-friendly day. Nothing is better than seeing your little ones laugh in hysterics, at the expense of Punch and Judy. So come down to the wish tower to watch the show.
