  • Warranty

It is the customers responsibility to ensure warranty is correctly applied for. This can generally be done online, over the phone or by post. All manufactures would require a model number that can be found on your invoice and a serial number which will be found on the appliance itself.

In some circumstances additional warranty can applied for, for instance 5 years on integrated Blomberg appliances its essential that the customer applies for the warranty in order to activate the guarantee. This is the same for some Lec refrigeration to extend to the 3 year warranty and some Belling ovens.

If you are unsure what warranty your appliance has contact us here at DB Domestics on 01323 725588 or contact the manufacturer of the appliance.

Where can I find my serial number?

It can change depending on manufacture but generally appliances have serial numbers located in the same position.

Where to find my serial number on a washing machine, washer dryer, tumble dryer? If you open the door of your appliance these are normally located on the inner door trim of the machine.

Where to find my serial number on a single oven, double oven and cookers? If you open the oven door this can be found at the bottom or on the side of the oven. On freestanding cookers and range cookers these are generally found in the main oven.

Where to find my serial number on a fridge freezer, fridge or freezer? These can normally be found in the fridge part of a fridge freezer a lot of the times they are hidden behind the salad tray. If this is removed the serial number can be found on the side of the inside of the appliance. If its on a freezer normally you have to remove the bottom few draws to find the stick with the serial number on.
